Associated Ministries

Revive is a Newport based Christian Charity who like to do things that make life feel a bit better, especially for those who don’t always have an easy time of it. Their most recent initiative has been the launch of The Living Room a Christian cafe.  Revive co-ordinate Park Life, Band Night, Newport Youth Cafe and the distribution of Newport’s Food Bank.

For sale are Christian books, CDs, cards, Fairtrade gifts and community based art. The Living Room will soon be  equipped to help people who are experiencing difficulties, with their journey towards getting the help they need, through formal and informal listening.

For people on low incomes, in crisis, made redundant, suffering benefit delays or with unexpected bills this can mean going hungry. Every day parents skip meals to feed their children and people are forced to choose between paying the rent and eating.

The Healing on the Streets is a gentle, non confrontational way  to reach out to the lost and hurting on the streets and introducing them to God’s love. The Isle of Wight team received their training during January 2014 and have been out each Saturday in St James Square, Newport where God has graciously been healing the sick and saving the lost. The HOTS team simply invite people to sit on chairs so they can be prayed for.
